Youth Crime Prevention Project (YCPP) assists youth aged 12-24 who are struggling to connect with or stay connected to school due to being at-risk and/or involved within the criminal justice system. Our YCCP Advocate provides one-to-one mentorship and support, connection to resources, and navigation through the criminal justice system to increase youth’s engagement within their school and community.

Youth Crime Prevention Advocate can assist with:

Accessing services and resources for basic needs, housing, employment, financial support, child welfare assistance, criminal justice system assistance, and academic support.
YCCP assists youth with their needs and works towards positive change by:

  • Creating alternatives to crime
  • Mentoring through one-on-one support
  • Individual and systems advocacy
  • Community collaboration
  • Outreach
