The Community ReEntry Support Program provides a link to the community for incarcerated individuals by providing direct assistance, information, guidance, advocacy and related support. Emphasis is placed on assisting individuals with release planning and connections with appropriate resources and supports.

Anyone serving a provincial or federal sentence and who would like help with their plans to live in the Calgary community upon release may access the Community ReEntry Support Program by calling the Calgary John Howard Society at 403-266-4566 or toll free 855-451-6947.

When individuals are released with a plan and appropriate supports they are more likely to succeed and this contributes to the overall health and safety of our clients and the community.
